Resolved: Off campus calling unavailable

Resolved: This outage was a result of an error by our carrier and is now resolved.

Update: As of about 8:15 PM service is restored, though troubleshooting continues and there may be further interruptions without warning.  We will continue to work with our service partners to stabilize service, and provide more information as it is available.

Beginning around 3:30pm we became aware of an issue making and receiving telephone calls from off campus numbers.  The issue appears to be with our telephone provider.  LITS administrators are working with the provider to restore service as soon as possible.
