Tech Talk: Mapping the London Cholera Epidemic

Learn about interactive mapping in the classroom! Melissa Pashigian from Anthropology discusses her Mellon Seed Grant project. Pashigian worked with LITS to develop interactive mapping resources and an in-class assignment on the London cholera epidemic of the 1850s. Students examine different historical maps and data points to develop a better understanding of the uses of medical anthropology for analyzing epidemics.
