Updated: Login issues for some individuals to some systems

Update: this issue has been resolved with a temporary solution. At this time we are unclear if a service interruption will be needed in order to correct the underlying cause.

We’ve identified an issue that affects the ability for some individuals to login to some systems.

Applicants, alums, former employees, and others who have access to limited systems, but not to campus computers and network drives cannot currently access the following systems:

  • Bionic
  • Fischer (to change passwords — this is an update to previously posted issue)
  • Office 365 (email, calendar, OneDrive, Skype for Business, etc.)
  • Handshake
  • SchoolDude

Please note that not all individuals in these categories have access to some or all of these systems under normal circumstances (for more info see https://www.brynmawr.edu/lits/about/policies/server-accounts-and-access).  This issue affects those that would normally have access, but currently cannot login to these systems.

At this time, we have not yet identified the cause of this issue, but system admins are currently investigating with Microsoft assistance.  Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
