Additional Protection from Phishing Attempts in Office 365

Posted February 19th, 2018 at 1:05 pm.

LITS is implementing some newly available anti-Phishing features in Office 365. Beginning this week, all messages marked by Office 365 as phishing attempts will be sent directly to community members’ Junk folders. We believe that fewer phishing messages reaching inboxes will reduce the likelihood of a community member compromising their College credentials by responding to a scam.

While the possibility of legitimate emails being sent to Junk exists, we believe this is unlikely. If you are concerned about a missing message, please check your Junk folder.
