All BMC staff are warmly invited to attend the 5th annual Staff Development Day, sponsored by LITS and the Staff Association. This event is an afternoon geared towards staff members’ professional and personal development. Spend a part of Spring Break gaining new skills and sharing knowledge with your colleagues!

When: Wednesday, March 14th from 12 – 3 PM

Where: Dalton Hall and Canaday Library

Register here:

This year’s event will feature a poster session and 22 unique 20- and 40-minute classes taught by talented BMC staff and faculty, with topics including digital photo editing, Excel, planning for retirement, public speaking, car repair, Skype for Business, and many more! Many of the sessions will be offered more than once. See the program for more details.

Come for one session or as many as you like; get inspired by your own skills and those of your colleagues as we share in a day of professional development and camaraderie. All attendees will receive a gift, and lunch will be served in Dalton 300 from 12 – 1 PM during the poster session. Several raffle prizes will be awarded! Attend the poster session and lunch to double your chances of winning.

All non-exempt staff are able to attend without having to take vacation or other existing leave allowances. Supervisors are encouraged to permit their staff to attend, and to come themselves!

Need a new LinkedIn profile picture? A photographer will be available on the 2nd floor (by the seating area)!

If you are interested in attending the sessions below, please indicate your interest by completing the surveys:
