The eighth annual Blended Learning in the Liberal Arts Conference will be held Wednesday, May 22 – Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Bryn Mawr College. These conferences are a forum for faculty, staff, and students to share resources, techniques, findings, and experiences related to blended learning.
Conference registration takes less than a minute and is free for Tri-Co faculty, staff, and students. Feel free to join us for the whole conference or to stop by for a panel or two! You can check out the tentative schedule here to get a sense of what to expect.
We’re especially excited for our keynote by fantastic speaker Kristin Betts on “Neuropedagogy & Blended Education: Transforming Instruction, Learning & Assessment through Evidence-Based Practices”. In this fascinating speech, Betts will show how progress in MBE (Mind, Brain, Education) Science, neuroplasticity, and metacognition can create new opportunities to engage students in learning experiences within courses and across curricula that foster critical thinking, support technology enhanced learning, and promote the transfer of knowledge and skills to real-world contexts.
We hope to see you there!
