Tripod’s New Look and Improved Functionality

Posted June 22nd, 2016 at 5:12 pm.

Have you noticed that Tripod looks a little different lately? We’re pleased to announce that this summer, the library catalog will be redesigned for improved functionality and a fresh look and feel!

We expect changes to Tripod to be fully implemented by the first week in August, 2016. Last week’s updates included a new logo, footer, and changing the top level navigation to a slide-out menu.

Here’s a preview of what the finished product will look like:

The Tripod redesign is the first in a series to align all TriCo web applications under a unified design strategy. Triptych (CONTENTdm) and Triceratops (DSpace) will be redesigned in Fall 2016, with LibGuides and Tri-Arte following soon after. Triptych will be relabeled Images and Manuscripts, Tri-Arte will be relabeled Art and Artifacts, and Triceratops will be relabeled Institutional Scholarship.

We will also be removing the Digitized Archives search tab, which is currently a bit misleading because it does not represent all TriCo digitized archives.

We’re excited to see these improvements unfold! Questions? Contact Chelsea Lobdel at
