Office 365 Update: Action may be required

Since our Office 365 launch in May 2016, LITS has been working with Microsoft to improve and further automate our account provisioning process, and to bring all accounts in line with licenses and policy.

As of Thursday evening 8/25, all Office 365 accounts will have several defaults set. Other options will need to be set (or reset) by community members individually.  We recommend reviewing the following options in particular to confirm that they’re set to your liking:

  • Time zone
  • Email forwarding (per the College’s Data Handling Policy, this is permitted for students only)

Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of any Office 365 app to access Options

No service interruption is expected.
