Fall Lineup of Learning Opportunities for Office 365!

Posted September 12th, 2016 at 2:46 pm.

Office365In late May 2016, the Bryn Mawr College community began using Office 365 for email and calendar. We know this has been a big change, and we’re pleased to continue a rich program of learning opportunities this fall that will ease your transition and help you take advantage of some of the new and exciting supported features of Office 365.

Spotlight Series

In an upcoming series of weekly emails, we’ll highlight some of the most valuable and most easily missed features of Office 365. Topics will include searching, using Clutter and FindTime, spotting phishing emails, and reasons to use OneDrive and Office Online.

Q&A Sessions (Office 365, Office 2016, and Windows 10): September – October

In these sessions we encourage attendees to bring your list of questions and a tip to share. We’ll have several facilitators addressing questions one-on-one and highlighting useful tips for the group. Also, for mobile device users: bring your mobile devices and questions or curiosities you have regarding getting the most out of Office for mobile, OneDrive for mobile, and the Outlook Web App app. Sessions will be held in either Canaday 315 or Quita Woodward Room (Thomas). Check the registration pages below for location.

Classes: September – October

This fall, we’ll host classes on managing email and using OneDrive and Office Online – all things we think will be most useful to students and faculty returning to campus. Classes will be similar to those we offered in the spring, with a few tweaks to make them particularly relevant to the academic context. All classes are taught by LITS staff in Canaday 315 or Dalton 20. Advance registration is required.

  • Work Collaboratively with Office 365: OneDrive & Office Online
  • Organize Your Inbox with Office 365
    • Wednesday, 9/28 10:30am-noon: Register

Later on we’ll offer a new class designed to help you get the most out of Office 2016. Stay tuned for details!
