Staff Development Day (3/9) Schedule Announced!

Smarter Together: Learning and Growing as a Staff Community

All BMC staff are warmly invited to attend the 4th annual Staff Development Day, an afternoon geared towards staff members’ professional and personal development. Spend a part of Spring Break gaining new skills and sharing knowledge with your colleagues to create positive change within the College community and beyond.

When: Thursday, March 9th from 1-4 PM

There will be 5 PechaKucha presentations and 21 unique 20- and 40-minute classes taught by talented BMC staff and faculty, with topics including activism, public speaking, desk yoga, Microsoft Office, Facebook, car repair, performance coaching, and much more! Many of the sessions will offered more than once. SeStaff development day postere the program for more details.

Come for one session or as many as you like; get inspired by your own skills and those of your colleagues as we share in a day of professional development and camaraderie. All attendees will receive a gift, and light refreshments will be served.

Need a new LinkedIn profile picture? Stop by the 2nd floor of Dalton between 2-4 PM  to have your headshot taken by a professional photographer!

LITS will be giving away 3 Amazon Dots as raffle prizes! Attend the PechaKucha sessions (running from 1 – 1:55pm in Dalton 300) to double your chances of winning.

Release time will be granted for all staff who attend (with supervisor permission). Supervisors are encouraged to permit their staff to attend, and to come themselves!
