Your Next Password Change Could Be Your Last!

Posted March 4th, 2019 at 10:32 am.

LITS is pleased to announce that an updated password policy will go into effect on Monday, March 18, 2019.

Currently all community members are required to change their College password every six months. After March 18, when you reach the end of your six-month cycle, you’ll be required to change your password once more, then you’ll keep that password indefinitely*!

If you’d like to get your final password change out of the way, you’re welcome to change it ahead of schedule – anytime after March 18th.

Please be aware:

  • The Bi-Co Password and Account Management Kiosk will look a little different.
  • Your password will need to be longer (15 characters, minimum), but complexity requirements (special characters, etc.) will be removed.
  • LITS will disable access to accounts that have not been used for more than 180 days. Contact the Help Desk to re-enable your account.
  • *If LITS detects a problem with your account, we may require you to change your password to protect it.

Contact the Help Desk with questions: or 610-526-7440.
