Urgent Wireless Upgrade Tomorrow (1/15) starting at 8am
LITS will be making an urgent security update to our campus wireless network tomorrow 1/15 starting around 8am.
Community members who are on campus may experience a 5-10 minute wireless outage. These outages will be on a rolling basis as each wireless access point is updated. Thank you for your patience as we complete this important work.

VPN Unavailable: Thursday (12/19) 6am – 9am
On Thursday (12/19), LITS will be performing an urgent upgrade to our VPN service. During this time, community members will not be able to access their College network drives (H:, S:, Q:, etc.) or other campus-only resources from off-campus. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes!

LITS coordinates with divisions across the College to confirm our system maintenance schedule annually. Not all systems will necessarily be unavailable during these maintenance windows; however, you should assume that they will be and plan critical work around the system maintenance schedule. LITS implemented this practice in June 2015 to reduce overall system downtime, to improve the security and reliability of College systems and networks, and to maintain compliance with industry and vendor support requirements and best practices.
The PeopleSoft patch testing schedule is determined by our vendor and does not follow the system maintenance schedule.

Update, 10:15pm: Folks should once again be able to login to all campus services. Please contact the Help Desk if you are continuing to experience any issues.
Starting this evening, community members report being unable to login to some Bryn Mawr services, including EZBorrow, eMarket, Interfolio, Domain of One’s Own, and Parchment. Action Required: Zero-Day Vulnerability on Apple Devices
Apple has released urgent security patches for recently discovered zero-day vulnerabilities affecting devices running macOS and iOS. While this predominantly affects older Intel-based Macs, all Apple devices should install the latest updates available as soon as possible.

Phone System and Voicemail Maintenance: Wednesday, 11/20 8:30am – 9:30am
Starting at 8:30am on Wednesday, 11/20 LITS will be working with our phone vendor to perform necessary maintenance on the system.
This maintenance will last approximately 1 hour. During this time, the voicemail system will be intermittently unavailable. Community members should be able to make and receive calls as normal. Thank you for your patience as we perform this necessary work.

Moodle Maintenance: Tuesday, October 29
LITS will be performing maintenance on Moodle at 7am on Tuesday, Oct 29. The upgrade will address security vulnerabilities, and should last approximately 10 minutes. People who are already logged in should experience minimal disruption.
