Scheduled Moodle Maintenance: 8/11 from 7-9PM

LITS will be performing routine Moodle maintenance and upgrades on Thursday, Aug 11 between 7:00-9:00 pm.

This maintenance includes performance improvements, but no substantial changes in the look or functionality.

We do not expect any service downtime, although you may experience slow or unusual behavior during the upgrade.

Wireless Security Certificate Replacement – Tuesday, 8/9

The wireless (eduroam) security certificate will be replaced on Tuesday (8/9). There will be minimal disruption to your connection to the wireless network. Once the replacement is complete, you will be prompted by your computer to accept the new certificate the next time you attempt to connect to eduroam.

Reminder: Changes to BIONIC

On Saturday, June 25th, BIONIC/PeopleSoft was updated with a new user interface. The new interface features college-specific branding for Bryn Mawr and Haverford and a new navigation bar at the top of the screen. This post highlights these major changes.

Emergency Moodle Maintenance – Friday (7/22) at 7AM *Note date and time change*

LITS will be performing emergency maintenance on Moodle at  7:00 AM on Friday, July 22, 2022*. The upgrade will address security vulnerabilities and should last 10 minutes. People who are already logged in should experience minimal disruption during the maintenance window.

Emergency Listserv Server Maintenance, 2pm TODAY July 13

UPDATE, 2:20pm: The server has been restarted and listservs are available again. Thank you for your patience while we completed this necessary work.


Starting at 2pm today, July 13th, LITS will need to restart the server that controls our campus listservs (Mailman). While this work is performed, community members will not be able to email campus listservs or log in to Mailman. We expect the outage to last approximately 30 minutes.

Reminder: Panopto Scheduled Downtime starting Sat June 25 9pm-1am

On Saturday, June 25th 2022, the Panopto Cloud will be updated with the latest features and improvements. These updates will require downtime. We expect up to 4 hours of downtime, with a target start time of 9:00pm EDT.During the downtime, you will not be able to access or play videos stored in Panopto. If you are recording on a Mac or PC desktop client, you will see a “Server unable to connect” error message if you try to upload the recording to the cloud, but you will still be able to save it on your hard drive and upload it once the system is back up.For any questions, please contact Panopto Support online at support.panopto.com or email support@panopto.com.
